NARDINE & SHERIF | ITS NOT THE PLACE, ITS THE PEOPLE | GET MARRIED

So there I am again. Finding myself in Ottawa for another wedding. From the first couple of times shooting there, I always said to myself, I will come back. And this time, for another amazing couple. Ottawa will always get me to come back, and it definitely will always be for the people. The place has so many hidden gems as well by the Byward market. A stunning view of the water from the Parliament. But I got used to that so quickly. The fondest memories I have of Ottawa, is actually walking around with Nardine and Sherif. They showed me amazing architecture and places to shoot that I've never seen before. For this, I am thankful.

The day was met with love. Seeing that everything that led up to this wedding day, was something so very special between Nardine and Sherif. And their family and friends also knew this. From the quirky moments in the morning, to the reception and all the crazy fun they had, this wedding was PERFECT. Again, it's always so hard to choose my favorite photos from the day and cull down to 40-ish for the blog because the final set I deliver to my couples is usually anywhere from 700-1000 images.

Big thank you goes to Viktoriya Bankova for coming out to second shoot and cover our groom's morning. Enjoy the photos!

One of the first times I've had where the bridesmaids got a first look set up and after seeing this, I encourage all my brides to do it.

One of the best things about weddings, is that you are around people that mean so much to you. Especially the wedding party. This group was so much fun to be around!

Their beautiful reception was held at the Crown Plaza Gatineau! What a party this was!

I chose this as the last photo despite the foreground blur. This moment, though so little can be made out of from the whole photo along with the subtle glimpes of the smiles, it speaks so much with them caught ever so slightly through all the arms in the air. A moment of fun, of love, of laughter, and memories. A day I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish because of the people. Thank you Nardine and Sherif for giving me the honor of capturing your wedding day! God bless!
